A team of fourteen intrepid Street Crane staff braved the mud and water to raise over £1,000 for a local hospice last weekend when they took on the challenge of the Wild Warrior race.

The team included people from every area of Street Crane, from the factory floor to the Boardroom. They all took part in the Wild Warrior Race which sees thousands of entrants tackling 34 obstacles set out over a five kilometre circuit in the Derbyshire countryside.

Gus Zona, Street Crane Managing Director, led the charge on the day. He explains,

“Blythe House provides a fantastic service to the local population. This year, it is 30 years old and we are delighted to continue supporting this amazing charity. It does such incredible work and has become an integral part of the local community. I would like to give a big thank all our staff who took on this challenge and to those who sponsored them.”

Blythe House Hospice is based in Chapel-en-le-Frith and offers free tailored holistic care and support for anyone in the High Peak facing cancer or other serious, life-limiting illness.
